Congratulations Michael Farrugia on your 6th dan Aikikai rank that has just been announced. This is an incredible achievement! The grade was delivered earlier in January by the Aikikai Foundation, Honbu dojo.
Dan Grade exams are held on the first Sunday in March, May, July, October and December at Honbu dojo. However, this is only applicable up to the 4th dan. Beyond that grade, an applicant must be recommended by her/his own Sensei. Michael Sensei was recommended by 7th dan Ulf Evenås Shihan.
